In 2025 The Friends of Knowle Library published a book to commemorate the men behind the names remembered on the WW1 memorial plaque on the old Wells Road School which is now converted to flats on the corner of Maxse and Greenmore Roads. The book is available at the library but we’ve been given permission to provide a copy here for easy access for all.
